Come Join Us on Sunday, September 8, 2019 for a mental and physical challenge! This year our challenge is held on the Sunday prior to 9/11, aka Patriot Day. We now observe Patriot Day annually on September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance for the thousands of lives lost in the 9/11 attacks.  This day serves as a reminder to all Americans that without the sacrifices of all men and women serving in all branches of our military, we would live in a much different world without the freedoms and rights we experience every day.

Our Military History Run and Ruck is designed to challenge you both mentally and physically. The course is a 5K distance obstacle course on a farm in Buffalo, MO.  This is how it works:

Participants run or ruck up to the obstacles. When the participant arrives, he/she must answer a question related to US military history. If the answer is correct, the participant moves on to the next obstacle. If the answer is incorrect, the participant must complete the obstacle before moving onto the next obstacle.

Expect to get a little dirty and wet too.

Run

This event is designed to be approximately 5K. Depending upon your answers to the questions at each station, it could be longer.

Ruck

Men will carry 45 pounds in their ruck sacks. Women will carry 35 pounds in their ruck sacks. At certain obstacles, participants will be able to remove their ruck sacks and put them back on before they move on.

Remember

As you challenge yourself mentally and physically, we strongly encourage you to remember those who served our country and gave their lives for our freedom and safety.
